The AI website builder. Describe your business → get a complete, professional multi-page website in about a minute. No code, no designer. Living document — we expand it as the product grows.
1. What is the Website Builder?
Genexti's Website Builder creates a full, multi-page website for your business using AI. You pick your business type, add a few details, and it generates the pages, copy, images, colours and layout for you. Then you refine everything three ways — click-to-edit on the page, an AI chat ("make the hero darker"), and a CMS panel for content — and publish it live.
Who it's for: anyone who wants a professional website without hiring a designer or writing code — salons, restaurants, agencies, tradespeople, clinics, shops, freelancers and more.
What makes it different: the AI writes the content for your industry (not just a blank template), you edit in plain language, and it's part of the same account as the Code IDE and Flow automation.
2. Getting started
- Sign up / Log in at genexti.com — one account covers all three pillars.
- You land on /apps (your launcher) or your Dashboard.
- Open the Website Builder → click Create New Website (the + AI Powered button).
Simple vs Pro: the Builder lives in the friendly Simple dashboard. The Code IDE lives in the Pro (Developer) dashboard. You can switch anytime — your websites are always in My Websites.
3. Creating your first website
- Choose a business category. There are 130+ categories (Restaurant, Salon, Law Firm, Real Estate, Aviation, Fashion, Technology, Umrah Services, Web Development… and many more). Each one primes the AI with the right tone and sections for that industry.
- Enter your details — business name, a short description, services, and contact info. There's a text box to "tell us about your business" — the more specific you are, the better the result. You can type or use voice: press and hold the mic and speak; it's transcribed for you.
- Click Generate. The AI builds a complete site — typically Home, About, Services, Gallery, Contact and more — with matching copy, images and an industry-appropriate design.
- In a few seconds your site appears in the live preview, ready to edit.
Tip: "Family Italian restaurant in Dubai Marina, wood-fired pizza, cosy candle-lit interior, open evenings" produces a far better site than "restaurant". Names, location, specialities and vibe all feed the AI.
4. The editing workspace
After generation you're in the editor. Key areas:
- Live preview (centre) — your real website, exactly as visitors will see it.
- Device modes — switch Desktop / Tablet / Mobile to check responsiveness.
- AI chat — tell the AI what to change in plain English (see §7).
- CMS panel — a slide-out for content, logo, menu, colours and SEO (see §8).
- Visual editor — click anything on the page to edit it directly (see §6).
- Top bar actions — Save, Preview (full-screen), Regenerate, Publish, and Undo / Redo.
- Autosave — your edits save automatically; Save is there for peace of mind.
5. Design styles (change the whole look in one click)
- Each category ships with several style packs — e.g. Dark Luxury, Light & Airy, Street & Bold — each a distinct colour + accent combination and layout feel.
- Click a style to instantly re-skin the site. Your business details, text and images stay the same — only the look changes.
- Prefer your own colour? Set a custom Accent colour in the CMS panel (§8) to match your brand exactly.
6. Visual Editor (click-to-edit, always on)
The visual editor is always active — no separate "edit mode" to toggle.
- Text — click any heading, paragraph or button label and type to replace it.
- Images — click an image to replace it (upload your own, or use an AI-generated one).
- Precise targeting — each element is tracked by a stable id, so your edit lands on exactly the element you clicked, even after the AI regenerates around it.
- Autosave on commit — changes are saved as you make them.
- Use Undo / Redo in the top bar if you change your mind.
7. Editing with AI chat (and voice)
- Open the AI chat and describe the change: "make the hero section darker", "add a testimonials section", "change the headline to something punchier", "translate the About page to Arabic".
- The AI edits your site and the preview updates. It's a conversation — keep refining.
- Voice input: press and hold the mic, speak your request, release — it's transcribed (via Gemini) and sent. Great on mobile.
8. The CMS Panel (content, branding & SEO)
Open the CMS panel (slide-out) to manage everything without touching the design:
- 📋 Content — manage repeating items, each in its own sub-panel:
- Services — name, description (and image where the design uses one).
- Team Members — name, role/title, photo.
- Reviews — customer testimonials with rating.
- Gallery — your images. Add, edit, reorder or remove items; the site updates to match.
- 🖼️ Logo — upload your logo and adjust its size; it replaces the text logo across the site.
- 🧭 Navigation Menu — rename your menu links (e.g. "Services" → "What We Do"). (Pages themselves are set by the design.)
- 🔘 Button (Header CTA) — the call-to-action in your top bar, e.g. Book Appointment, Get a Quote.
- 🎨 Accent colour — set your exact brand colour; it flows through buttons, links and highlights.
- 🔎 SEO — set a SEO Title and SEO Description (the text Google and social shares show). Autosaved.
9. Images
- Replace any image by clicking it in the visual editor — upload your own or pick an AI-generated one.
- The AI matches images to your category and description, so a more detailed brief gives more on-brand imagery.
- Manage gallery/team/service images from the CMS panel too.
10. Preview
- Device modes (Desktop / Tablet / Mobile) in the editor let you check every breakpoint.
- Preview opens the site full-screen in a distraction-free view, with its own device switcher, so you can experience it exactly as a visitor.
- Links in the preview: your menu's in-page links (
#services,#contact) scroll to that section just like the published site, and a link to another website opens in a new tab. The preview itself never navigates away from your site.
11. Saving, autosave, undo
- Edits autosave continuously; Save is available anytime.
- Undo / Redo step through your recent changes.
- Everything is stored to your account — close the tab and reopen from My Websites with all your work intact.
12. Publishing your website
- Click Publish.
- Your site goes live on a free subdomain:
yourname.genexti.com. - A success screen confirms the live link — share it right away.
- Republish anytime after edits; visitors always see your latest published version.
Custom domain (your own .com)
- To use your own domain (e.g.
yourbusiness.com), connect it in Domains (paid plans). You'll add the DNS records shown, and once verified your site serves on your domain. - On a free plan, a small "Prepared with Genexti" badge appears; paid plans remove it.
13. Forms & emails
- Contact/booking forms on your site email submissions to you automatically.
- The destination is your Business email in Settings → Business Information — set it so forms deliver correctly (there's a warning if it's blank). See the Account & Settings guide.
14. Managing your websites (My Websites)
- My Websites shows every site as a card: status (Live / Saved / Draft), industry, and last updated.
- Each card's ⋮ menu: Open in the editor, Rename, Preview, Publish / CMS, Duplicate, Delete.
- Switch between Grid and List view; search to find one fast.
15. Plans & limits
- Free: up to 2 websites + 2 subdomains; includes the "Prepared with Genexti" badge.
- Paid: more/unlimited websites, custom domains, badge removed, priority AI generation.
- See Billing for current pricing and to upgrade.
16. FAQ / troubleshooting
- My images look generic → add a more specific business description; the AI matches images to your category and details. You can also replace any image by clicking it.
- A section is missing → ask the AI chat to add it ("add an FAQ section"), or re-generate.
- The design isn't my style → try a different style pack (§5) or set a custom accent colour (§8) — one click, content preserved.
- I can't publish → check you're within your plan's website limit; upgrade if needed.
- Theme switch shows a blank page → refresh; if it persists, contact support.
- My contact form doesn't email me → set your Business email in Settings (§13).
- Replying to a contact-form lead → just hit Reply. The email arrives from
contact@genexti.com(our sending address) but the reply-to is set to the visitor's own address, so your answer goes straight to them, not to Genexti. If the visitor left the email field blank or typed an invalid address, there is nothing to reply to — their message still reaches you, and their phone number and details are in the body. - Changes aren't showing on my live site → click Publish again; the live site shows the last published version, not unsaved edits.
